If you are a customer you will sign a service contract with 17tons and you will be able to see the trees that our landlords have planted and grew. If you are a landlord we will provide you with data and information to monitor tree growth.
Yes, 17tons provides API management for data transfer.
When a tree dies, its digital entity on our DMRV platform is turned off and therefore that tree is no longer included in the CO2 removal calculation. Furthermore, to compensate for potential loss of trees during the lifecycle of the project, we plant an additional 10% of trees.
At this stage, we have agreements with partners that operates primarily in Italy, Europe and Africa.

We cover the entire land project/field with RFID TAG and IoT sensors to automatically capture real time data (with short term frequency e.g.: any 1 / 3 months), from soul, air and tree. We use these data to quantify each plant’s CO2 removal, as well as other ‘ecosystem services’. Other methods undertake manual assessment on a portion of the field, as per the entire one, and calculate the CO2 removal on the basis of standards instead of real data. Moreover we can provide the Client with prevention and predictive advice on growth or death tree risk
Clients can view the real data through our simple user web platform, mobile app or through our simple APIs to integrate in their company platform.
